Selection Guide
Class 2500 is used for very high-pressure critical isolation. Requires the most disciplined rfq package in this structure; incomplete service data can lead to major design changes. For this valve design, buyers should also review disc motion, hinge or spring behavior, closure response and seat design.
Final pressure-temperature limits, dimensions, operating torque and test values are confirmed against the applicable standard, approved drawing and project specification.

Typical project materials include WCB, WC6, WC9, C12A, CF8M. The correct grade depends on corrosion, minimum and maximum design temperature, toughness, hardness limits and the project material specification.
End Connections
Rtj or bw are commonly considered, but the project piping class is the governing document. Available connection families for this product include RF, RTJ, BW.
Design & Engineering
For Class 2500, treat material, pressure boundary, stem/shaft load, seating, torque, actuation and inspection as one engineering review. Also confirm orientation, flow direction, allowable pressure drop, closure behavior, body material and end connection.
Pump discharge, compressor discharge, process lines, pipelines and utility systems. Final suitability depends on the actual fluid, design temperature, corrosion conditions, cycling frequency and project specification.
Testing & Inspection
Define nde, material verification, pressure-test acceptance, documentation and witness points in the itp before production.

Buyer Questions
Provide valve size, Class 2500, design standard, body and trim material, end connection, operation, quantity, service fluid, design temperature and inspection requirements.
Typical project options include WCB, WC6, WC9, C12A, CF8M. Final material selection must follow the approved piping class and service conditions.
This product family includes RF, RTJ, BW. The correct connection depends on the line class, flange facing or weld preparation in the project specification.
Where the design allows it, gear, pneumatic, electric or hydraulic operation can be evaluated after operating torque, fail action and project requirements are confirmed.
